With a background in bacteriology and microbial ecology, my research has focused on zoonotic pathogenic bacteria. This began with a PhD thesis investigating the impact of environmental stressors on the behavior of Listeria monocytogenes, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship dedicated to studying virulence factors in extraintestinal pathogenic Escherichia coli (ExPEC) strains.

Since 2007, I have served as both the Head of the CIRM-BP and the Quality Manager. In these roles, I oversee the activities of this Biological Resource Center (BRC) dedicated to human and animal pathogenic bacteria. I manage these operations within a continuous improvement framework aligned with ISO 9001 certification. In collaboration with my colleagues, I am specifically responsible for defining the team’s scientific strategic directions, managing research projects, and addressing user requests.
