Distribution rates for strains 

The strains in the CIRM catalogues are generally sent in freeze-dried form. Other shipping methods are possible on request.

Orders are validated and honoured after receipt of a completed and signed MTA (Material Transfer Agreement) and an order form issued by the applicant. For pathogenic strains, a certificate of authorisation to handle class 2 or 3 pathogens will also be requested (a model will be provided).

The sales price varies between 50 and 180 EUR excluding VAT per strain according to the regulatory categories. To which must be added the shipping costs which vary according to the destination and the regulatory categories.

For dual-use strains, an administrative fee of 390 EUR is added to the price of the strain. It includes administrative procedures, customs fees, postage and packing.
