CIRM-CF

A Biological Resource Center dedicated to the preservation of filamentous fungi of agro-industrial interest and to their valorization.

Direct access to the CIRM-CF catalog.

The CIRM-CF (International Microbial Resource Center - Filamentous Fungi) is a BRC dedicated to filamentous fungi (mainly basidiomycetes and ascomycetes) involved in the transformation of plant biomass. The fungal strains  come from unique biotopes (temperate forest, tropical, polluted agro-industrial sites ...). Aiming at a high level of quality, CIRM-CF's collections and services have been ISO 9001 certified since 2006, for the acquisition, authentication, conservation, diffusion and functional screening of fungal resources.

An article on the front page of INRAE news dedicated to CIRM-CF: "A Biological Resource Center dedicated to filamentous fungi and serving the bioeconomy"

In the video below, the CIRM-CF presents (Delphine Chaduli) an application of the research undertaken by the CIRM-CF and the UMR INRAE BBF, in the field of biorefineries and in particular the production of second generation (2G) bioethanol:

Interview of David Navarro, Deputy Director of the CIRM-CF in a  "Élément Terre"  report aired on France 24 dedicated to mushrooms and their valorisations (associated article):
